Bits & bytes for March 15th 2024
I took a punt on New Star GP this week, which is a distinctively retro looking F1 game that spans a few different decades. But it's got enough depth behind those old school graphics to provide an actually compelling racing title. It scratches the itch of fully-fledged F1 titles which these days spend too much time faffing around running a team rather than actual on-track action.
Moreover, it's doing really well sales-wise, particularly on Steam Deck, where it makes absolute sense. So supporting a small indie like this is a no-brainer!
