Bits & bytes for November 17th 2023

It's the 25th anniversary of Half Life. Oh boy. I am aging aggressively.

There's a new Steam Deck OLED released. I absolutely want one, but it's also absolutely expensive and at the worst time of year. But that battery life would really suit me going into some big trips next year. I am thinking I could shift my Deck off to a friend/brother to help foot the bill for an OLED before January (where I've a decent bit of travel coming). Woe is me, etc.
